Re: Coolant to Plenum Delete
Hi there,
I have a 1990 ZR-1 and my previous owner installed power plates. They should keep the plenum cooler and also block the coolant passages into the plenum. My engine looks like this. You see the air bleeding hoses are missing, but I have bleeding screws on the coolant output. I also have a Jaguar V12 which had a heavy engine damage cause of overheating. Therefore I am also very very afraid of air pockets. I found a picture on the internet where someone had also the coolant blocked to the plenum but installed special air bleeding hoses. This seems to me a very clever solution. Wht do you think about it and has someone a idea how and where get those hoses? Thank you in advance. Greetings from Munich, Bavaria. Oli PS: I found the original thread of locobob, who did the mod with the hoses: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...plenum+coolant Last edited by ojb; 02-25-2007 at 04:46 PM. |

Re: Coolant to Plenum Delete
I installed the plenium plates when I put my new injectors in and I didn't block off the TB. I didn't know at that time that you could do that, is this going cause me any problems, I don't really care if it doesn't do much for the peformance as long as no harm will come to the motor. i am not taking the plenium off again unless I have to.
