Children being executed with hollow point rounds while hiding in a closet for protection can do that to you. I told myself I would not cry on the way into work this morning. On Route 302 at the Bethel border someone put up a sign that says "Bethel is grieving with our Newtown neighbors" and I lost it again.

On a positive note, the amount of help and the people that have descended on our town to help is amazing. You can hardly move. There are over 500 people working on the Sandy Hook Elementary School move over to Monroe, CT. Phenomenal. Restores some hope I have for our future.
