hi, getting ready to change the oil and wondering what you guys think of royal purple oil. high price but supposed to be the best.????

I will proly get my power key revoked for saying this but as long as you use a motor oil that meets the service requirements and a filter that has a good anti-drain back valve any oil will be okay to use. Provided you are smart about change intervals. You know what I'm saying, right? Don't leave it in for 10,000 miles or some rediculous interval.
The reason that I use Mobil1 full synthetic 10w-30 is that the local COSTCO has it in six packs & it's cheaper than any of the parts stores by me! ![]() JMHO ![]() Tom

i would stick with syntec oil...any brand should do,as i dont there is such a thing as a cheap synthetic oil,because of the cost involved in producing it,but i might be wrong !!anyone care to comment?
