Actually, I currently live in a county that does require emmissions, but, only if you drive a car more than 5,000 miles in a year. But, I will be transfering my residencey to Ohio on Jan 1. They have no emississions tests.

I will do wires while I'm there.
Coil Packs ....Is there a good test? ....Good quality Replacements? ....Aroundabout Cost? Thanks all to have responded. No one around here knows anything about these!!!!! |

yes . i did the labor for a guy in porterville . we removed the secondaries and used marks reprogrammed prom and it passed . he sold the car since then and told the buyer passed also.

I empty the ash tray when it gets full of paper etc.
I could just toss it but what he heck. Things that break on the car I just fix. When it comes to the secondaries it's the same. I fixed them in 99 and they worked fine until this year. I rebuilt the air pump and I'm good to go for another decade. One big reason I leave the secondaries in is to be able to remove the power key any time i let someone drive it. And it's a good conversation point. Other systems that get pull that I choose not to are: 1. tire sensors 2. air bag 3. Cats 4. Bose system 5. FX system
