Bose amps
Has anyone tried rebuilding the Bose amps? I know there is a procedure out there detailing how it is done, but I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has actually done it. I'm proficient at electronic assembly and soldering, but am concerned about removal of the epoxy used to stabilize the capacitors. Not sure how much board damage to expect.

Re: Bose amps
you could use a bose amp from any Nissan that uses a BOSE speaker also. I tried using speakers form a 2005 Pathfinder and it worked great!!! Faster than rebuilding.

Re: Bose amps
I used the Nissan/Infinity Bose amps as well, a quick and cheap alternative. System sounds good.
