When I say I've enjoyed this 90 to the fullest I'm not kidding. And it didn't blow up on me over heat or go haywire. Then I pulled into Starbucks and had a quad lotte.

Just broke in!
I am 65 and been driving since I was 15. I have only owned 7 new vehicles, 2 of which I still own and drive. A '95 Grand Cherokee and a '01 Nissan Sentra. Both still run great! The key is to fix things as they go bad; regular service and don't abuse them. They will last forever!! |

Frankly, getting a ZR w 100k on it is the most fun you can have w a car. You just don't give a crap anymore about some phony baloney resale value. ![]() |

As luck would have it, I ran into the WAZOO gang and these wonderful friends helped me bring her back mechanically - motor was fine but needed new bushings, oil and trans leak, driveline stuff, etc... A new paint in 2010 was the final touch - well sorta... Since then I have been doing extra touches such as 18" Fikses, headers, SS ehaust, Pioneer Avic, etc... On the list are top end, big brakes (leaning towards Wilwood), maybe coil-overs, and God knows what. Last April with 128,000+ she pulled 363 rwhp - about 435 at crank? This was with plugs loose, so I found out, when my plug boot kept popping out mysteriously a week later. At 131,000, I drive her as long as it's not raining, including my daily commute into DC - like I said, I no longer worry about milege! I figure the day she looses compression I will take her to Marc and have him do a 368 or maybe even a 385 rebuild. Come to think of it, I look forward to the day I can justify a rebuild! ![]() |

Agree with all of the above -- it only gets better at 200k!

Your right. It's just a number. I didn't mean to sound like life is over for it in anyway.
