Just about to install new injectors but I forgot which injectors you replace the O rings on with the other set of O rings that was sent with new injectors.. Primary or secondary and which end of the injector they go on. I am replaceing with new delphi injectors from injector connection. I would have called them but I don't think they are open today..Thanks for your help...E..

[QUOTE=Paul Workman;132013]You didn't say what year your Z is, but if it is a 90, the primary ring is at the top of the cavity and there is no O ring at the bottom. That is probably what you have.

I may be wrong, but I believe the 91-95s O rings are both on the tip of the injector, and all the rings are the small ones. The mystery will be over if the old injectors have the rings at the tip, I recon!

BTW, if you have a 90, you can forgo the O ring on the tip of the primary injector, if the injector came with it already in

Sorry I forgot mine is a 1993. The injectors I took out had O rings at the top an bottom. when I ordered the new ones he said I need to replace the ones on 1 set of injectors that he sent to me [primary or secondary]. I forgot whitch set. he sent along a nother set og O rings to replace them with. They are a diferent size.

If you have a 93, then the o-rings will all be the same size (qty = 32) and installed on the injectors, top & bottom. There are none in the injector housings.

93~95 have the same injector seal configuration, using #17112222 o-ring seals only.

90~92 use 24ea of #17112222, 16 on the top of all injectors and the remaing 8 on the bottom of the secondary injectors. Also required 8ea of #10067600 which go inside of the injector housings to seal the bottom of the primary injectors.

Hi Jerry
Thanks for your help. I thought about calling you but I didn't want to be a pain. After about 3 hours I found what I needed to know... I bought new injectors and new O rings from [Injector connection] he said I would need to replace the O rings with a nother size that he would sell me. which he did. It turned out that the ones that came on the injectors was what worked.
Thanks again Ellis..
