Default 90 ZR1 Fuel Injectors

Lost a post from last week. Could some one tell me where I can buy RC injectors. The ones I want for primary and secondary and any special orings I need or electrical parts I need if any. Thanks Chuck.

Chuck:

http://www.rceng.com/

p/n: SL4-205

Make sure to tell them what year of ZR1 they are for.

No mods necessary, just stick them in.

You will need plenum gaskets.
Contact Jeff Flint on this forum (JEFFVETTE), he'll set you up.

While you're in under the plenum be sure to check all the vacuum & sensor hoses and connections. Replace any that have gone soft or cracked.
Make sure to retorque the oil breather box bolts and the injector housing bolts too. They tend to loosen over time.

Good luck!
Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

R C Engineering at http://www.rceng.com/

I see Tom beat me to this, but I might add that Registry Members get a discount from RC. So if you are a memeber of the Registry be sure to let them know.

Thanks. I know the GM primary and secondary are different. Are the RC's the same for primary and secondary? Chuck.

Just tell them the year. They'll know what injectors you need.

There's two differences between the primaries and the secondaries.
- The primaries seal by a "O" ring on the body and don't use the standard "O" ring at the bottom. The groove for the lower "O" is removed.
- The electrical connection on the primaries has a locating tab that is to one side and the secondaries have a locating tab that is in the middle of the plug.

Thanks. Thats why I asked I know the different ways the primary and secondary seal. Just wanted to make sure RC knew to send me the different injectors and or seals since the AC/Delco tips are different and seal different. Is it best just to call in the order?

Chuck:

Give them a call.
Reduces the chances for error.
Make sure they know what year your ZR1 is.
