Default 90 Heads and IH's on our 91

Based on photos in this thread http://www.zr1.net/forum/showthread....ighlight=valve The heads and IH's on my wife's Z are 1990 style.

did the previous owner have the inj housings and plenum ported?????

NOPE! She was a virgin when I cracked her open for injectors last year.

That's not particulary surprising, knowing the story behind the change. It was essentially a change to reduce machining and therefore cost. There was probably an inventory of engines already at BG when the change was implemented at Mercury.
