That is so true! I have a good freind with a 78 trans am who swears his car is badder than mine in all aspects. I understand about different of opinions but they should be based on at least some reallity. I guess one can look at it as a buying opportunity, just wish I had some extra coin.

Car prices are in the toilet for sure. It is amazing what people will pay for. It all comes down to what is in demand from the general public's eye. Saw some very iffy cars at the Dallas Mecum auction go for more dollars than they were worth. A 32 model A in the $30k+ range, big money for that type of car, but when talking with the new owners they were elated. By the way they didn't have a clue what they bought or how to even operate it.

having owned one of themthe only way that car could out perform a zr1 was id the zr1 was broken

there was a read smokey and the bandit trans am I passed every day on my way to work for a year, sitting there for sale, taunting me. I've always wondered what they would do with some decent compression in them
