I talked to Pete, and he's overhauling the motor; bearings, sleeves, pistons, rings. He might drive it down if it is running by then, but feels he will need some break-in miles before racing. But, he says he'll be there one way or another, weather (as always) being the factor.

So, I suppose you could say we've got 7 FBI drivers planning to be there, but maybe only 6 ZR-1s, so far.

BTW, Dom, I don't have Brett's number. Might want to give him a call!?

Update:

It looks like the "Who's Who" of the FBI showing up for this one! I just spoke with Pete a bit ago, and he says Kevin will try to make it. So, here's who's coming...

1. Jim McCarty
2. Al
3. Marc Haibeck
4. Dom (says he won't race, but we'll see! he )
5. Bob G
6. Kevin
7. Kenny Windisch (possibly - depends on circumstances)
8. Pete (car won't be ready, but he and Dom will be down in front with the pom-poms and pleated cheerleaders' skirts - tossing each other in the air, doing the splits, stuff like that there!
9. and last (but hopefully not least) ME!

Now, if Lee and Phil and some of the IN or down state IL ZR-1 guys would check in, we could really have a party!

So far, the weather looks like it is going to be great!
