The Bloomington Gold annual event is being held at St Charles, IL, June 23-26.

The East Central Region of the Net Registry is arranging for a designated parking area reserved exclusively for those ZR-1s and their drivers that are registered for the BG event.

This event draws people from all over the US and Canada as well as other international locations, and it is in the heart of "FBI" Net Registry territory.

In addition to the Bloomington Gold schedule of events, the local FBI group is planning a couple chances for the ZR-1 Brotherhood to get together to meet and greet:

On Friday night (6/24) after BG festivities end for the day, fire up your Beasts and cruise on over to a pizza n brewskies get together at Home Run Pizza on Lake street, about 1/2 mile east of 355, just a short drive from Pheasant Run/Bloomington Gold. No, you don't have to have a ZR-1 to join in the fun, but if you have one...bring it!

This year BG has brought back the "Gold Tour"! This is a well attended, super favorite event of many. Thousands of Corvettes filing out onto country blacktop course that loops back on itself so you get to see 10 miles or so of Corvettes of every kind coming atcha! The route is usually lined with hundreds of on-lookers, all waving and cheering as the high octane parade rumbles by - a very festive mood and not one to miss at BG!

We've just learned about the reinstatement of the Tour. So, we're just now forming up ideas on where to gather after the Tour, but you can bet it will be a good time. (Ya wanna stay tuned for updates between now and then.)
