My major upgrade for this year - just completed redoing my wheels. Had the OE wheels refinished, new Nitto Extreme's, new center caps.
I had 20 years of minor (but accumulated) curb rash, clear coat had yellowed, 10 year old rubber, caps were pitted. If you are looking at refinishing a machined wheels - you really need to do your homework on the refinisher. I'm not overly thrilled with the result on the fronts. From a foot away they look great - but up close they look like they have water spots on them. After a lot of discussion with multiple refinishers - it seems this can happen if the diamond tool for the CNC is either too new/sharp, or too dull, or can happen if the clearcoat is not applied properly. Fortunately my rear wheels look great and if I can't live with the fronts - I know I can pick an OEM pair reasonable - and now know where to take them to get them done right. Really looks nice with the new wheels, I like it a lot. But, uh, er, an Admiral Blue 90. Nice.

No kidding, sure looks like Admiral in the pic. I've not seen a QB ZR-1 so it could be me too. I thought they were a lighter blue than that. Could be the pic as mentioned too. Still very nice.

I think Admiral Blue is a gloss paint. QB is metallic. Car looks great, that color really looks good on the '90 body style!

Call Jeff Kopp at Superior Chevrolet. (913)384-1550. They do business with a company that refinishes wheels for the body shop. Quick turnaround and very reasonable also.
