EGR and emissions testing
It's almost time to get my 94 inspected. Last year with stock exhaust I had no problems on the Texas sniffer inspection but I have since added headers with random tech cats and very recently I have been getting a Code 43 that seemsto be an EGR fault. If I disable the EGR what are my chances of passing the sniff test?

Re: EGR and emissions testing
What are the test limits?
For me, it was HC's that went up a lot with headers and bullet cats.

Re: EGR and emissions testing
The limits are:
HC(PPM) 220 CO(%) 1.20 Dilution >6 Last year with the stock manifolds and cats my Z read: HC(PPM) 1 CO(%) 0.00 Dilution(%) 14 |

Re: EGR and emissions testing
Here are my last state inspection readings and I'm running headers, MF bullet cats, Corsa exhaust and Haibeck chip. Took a little finessing but it passed. EGR is installed but "sleeping".
