Took my Z for a ride on some windy roads and
the coil over suspension makes it soo easy

Unbelievable improvement!

Not very good on bumps, but it never was!

Hummmm........Dave, not exactly the result that I expected? What do you mean "not good over bumps"?

Are you talking more ride quality as in comfort versus the chassis still becoming upset over bumps in the corners?

Can't speak for Dave. My experience was similar though. The '95s are more of a GT car--'94s not a much. I'll bet Dave revalved the shocks--I did. This will stiffen the ride as will the spring rate increase and lowering the car. Once you are accustomed to the ride it is appealing. I also think the components have to almost settle or meld together.

David did you retain the FX-3 system as well? I Did. If you get some FX-3 lights you may have to adjust the ride height of the top cup to the actuator. I found it took the weight of the car and running around town a week before the new DRM top shock bushings settle enough to get the top nuts down to 1 and half treads above the top nut. Everything was great from there. Use a wreanch to hold the shock shaft so it does not rotate and crank down the top nut. GC

Daryl,

I retained the FX3 and installed new blisten shocks (thanks to Kevin). Had the Coil Over's installed @ a professional shop and no issues at all.

I can't say how happy I am with the setup and if it wasn't for you & Ted I wouldn't have this upgrade. One of the best upgrades, not counting headers!!!

Awesome David glad to hear it. Do you already have a harness bar? Helps with stiffing the back. If not I highly recommend the Brey-Krause set up
