I even sent the guy a copy of the check with a # he could call to verify funds, at this point I have to say either something is up or he really does not care to sell it.

Sorry to hear that. Some people are old school, and very trustworthy, others, well if you get that funny feeling in your gut there is probably a reason why.

He may try forge check - make fraudulent one. I only do wire transfers.
Criminals can produce all kinds of fake checks with scanners, technology etc.

There's one rotting away a here in Colorado that will probably never see the road again along with some Syclones......sad chit!

Had a buddy go down to see if he could pickup another Syclone, but the guy said all these cars will rott before they're ever sold.

I guess from what my friend said he's a 40 something spoiled brat that has never worked a day in his life with a huge chip on his shoulder. By the time he ever gets ready to sell them the Colorado sun will reduce them all to just parts.
