Hi Daryll - I have a set of cam tensioners that came out of a low-miles 1993 LT5. I will post a picture in a few minutes.

It looks like from Craigs post provided by cliff that the new Housing is the "key" portion and cups more oil upon startup. Hence solving the oil stravation problem. It appears the tensoner problem is more of a housing problem. Is this the correct read?
