Default Re: Moment Of Inertia - Reduce MOI & Gain Horsepower

RUT-RUT-RUT

At IDLE engage the clutch and no more rattle.

Mine is loud and when you lug the engine in low rpm's in 1st & 2nd it makes folks ask WTF is that noise

I tell them "that is the sound of HIGH PERFORMANCE".

They look at you with a blank stare

I mumble things about ceramic clutch- lightweight alum flywheel-low mass-and "special HD German Tranny" -- rattle of the syncros -- unbalanced --blah-blah-blah-- no biggie--no harm -- no foul

By the time I get around to doing a 0-100 they have no more comments for the rest of the ride about the noise.

Because they have been ZRONED & are now ZROWNED

That is when I ask em if 400 HP is enough for a Corvette and what the new ZR1 with 600+ must be like? or even a C6 Z06 @ 500 HP?

The answer is always the same --- "TOO MUCH - 400 IS PLENTY"

Later I send em this link of the famous 900 HP ZR-1

900 HP = 9 Seconds of pure LUV
