Re: Street Wheelers This Weekend
Gates actually makes them, Just like heat shrink....only a little more serious.
The Camaro hooks O.K., but not great. Leaf spring car with 28"x10" tire...But that isn't the reason it doesn't hook great, he has way too much 1st gear & too much rear gear. Thats O.K., I'll be getting my Stingray out shortly & hand him his A**...Chances are then he'll listen to me ...Maybe, LOL.

Re: Street Wheelers This Weekend
I've just been informed the Camaro calfed his CSR electric water pump, changing out to his spare right now...I wasn't kidding, they're hittin' it out on the Hi-Way this minute. Kind of a tradition with Street Wheeler's weekend...Boys will be boys

Re: Street Wheelers This Weekend
This was my first year attending and I would love to go with some serious HP to play with people afterwards. One of the guys I work with used to go and had won the 100' shoot out and I believe he left the 100's undefeated. He was the runner up in Edmonton back in 2001 for the pro-street class with an 8.969 @ 151.33mph
His is the Camaro

Re: Street Wheelers This Weekend
I've got some video of Grant leaving the starting line in Calgary in the early 2000's I think, I was there with my car. Think he broke a driveshaft...??? Haven't watched the video for years, I seem to recall he went up pretty hard &....came down harder!, LOL. I've done it myself so I can laugh....Grant actually went to high school with one of my good friends/customers in Medicine Hat too...
