Street Wheelers This Weekend

It's that time of year again for the best damn car show ever.....Street Wheelers legendary Street Machine week-end.

Friday is cruise night - massive cruise of the town. I'm not sure how many cars but I have heard people say the numbers exceeds 1500 cars.

Saturday is 100ft shot out - A decent day of drag racing and some of the horsepower that turns out is amazing

Sunday is the big show and shine!!

I finally have a sweet ride to tour the show and shine with this year!!

Is there any other members heading to this event this week-end??

If you live too far away, you at least have to check out the site and view the pictures from past years. Also there is a good pile of YouTube vid's posted of the 100' shot out from past years....

Not going but have a bunch of customers there. Was playing around with the idea of hopping in the Zed (Canadian section ) & boot down but i'm too busy trying to finish up my customer engines for the summer. You notice these two customers of mine there?

I grabbed a pile of pictures from the show. I was going to maybe a post a few of the real show stoppers that were there, do you know if this forum approves of pictures being posted of other people's cars? There were some gorgeous cars there!

Alright cool.

Well I probably got carried away with the camera as always, so I'll try to post the ones that caught my eye or are just different! There wasn't any neat looking Corvette's, a few vehicles with Corvette power plants, but that's about it...

Ya', 100 foot drag races in small(er) towns all over Alberta. It's actually gotten a fairly strong following the past 4-5 years.

The Camaro has an all alum. 604, naturally aspirated on pump gas, over 900 HP. This pic is when we were mocking it up in the car.

My guys are text-ing me as I write this, they are out street racing on the out-skirts of town. Pretty quiet on a Sunday night, lot of open area too...
