Pulled the Radio out of my dash for repair - ZR-1 Net Registry Forums

The CD player in my radio has not worked since I purchased my car. I pulled the radio out to send to Doctor Dons for a check-up and repair. Unfortunately, when I was taking the radio cover off, I dropped one of the spring clips that hold the plastic cover to the dash. I think it dropped down along the center console, but am not exactly sure where. I only heard it twang when I pulled the plastic radio cover off. I have not been able to find it or to fish it out with my flexible magnet.

I tried to find another, but, am told the spring clip is no longer available from GM or from any other place I have looked.

Does anyone know where I can find the clip (GM part # 10175544). It will be helpful when the radio comes back if I can reassemble the plastic radio cover with the correct spring clip.
