Brad, most of those fittings are made of pot matel take the t-stat housing off the car and on your work bench with a small chisal and hammer start breaking it away.
Once it's off GM or your local parts stores still have these i have an extra one in my garage i will look at the part # and post it for you in a little bit.

If not pot matel take a grinder with small carbide to it,a Dremel will probably work best.
Work one area basicly try to cut it straight down/split it.

Let me know how it goes for you.

Pete
