Default Looking for some parts: request

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a couple of things:

a. Spring Clamp 47mm: this is the upper radiator hose clamp onto the radiator. It is a silver clamp stamped "47" (part #21030894)

Our local Napa has a GM parts connection and after waiting a week to get it, I received a screw clamp...and a rather flimsy looking one at that. I can't believe that GM doesn't have it.

b. the two throttle cable clips for the cable on top of the plenum (it's the later style, maybe 92', for sure '93 to '95). (and I need one of the two screws) I would like nice original finish pieces with the correct OEM black oxide screw.

If the spring clamp is not perfect, that's ok, I can paint it - as long as it hasn't lost it's tension.

If anyone has these, I would like to get them ASAP. It's getting colder up here in MN and I want to get my '95 "yellow bird" back on the road to play before I have to put her away. The clamp is the hold up at this point and I don't want to mark up the new hose with a screw clamp or have to pull it off later to get the spring clamp on.

I do appreciate any help. Thanks!

Sorry, no late style accel cable clip

I do have some used, original hose clamps, just need to clean them up, take photos & list on the web site. Maybe I can get it done tomorrow.

Great Jerry! I will take two of the plenum screws and if the hose clamp is the 47mm, I will take one. (I'd take two for your trouble, but I only need one, and maybe someone else will eventually find the need for them).

No need to clean them up or post pictures on my account Jerry. If it is a good, functional clamp, I will paint it up nice.

Please send me an email with the price and I will checkout at your site, or paypal.

I sure appreciate the help you provide=D>.

The "constant tension" GM part# was 10158084 and yes the service replacement in all car lines is the 21030894 that was received. I don't remember all of those clamps being stamped with the 47 but yours is a '95 and maybe at that stage of production all were.

The recall hose packages for '90MY I believe had X stamped on them and were black.

If Jerry were to try and match a clamp it would be just short of 15mm wide and when "NEW" the "free" diameter would be something near 41.4 - full open would be 50mm. A used free diameter of less than 42.5 might not be desired. The hose is maybe 45mm?

What are the dimensions of what you've got left?

WVZR-1,

I am kind of fortunate in that looking for "correct", I have my factory original '94 and my dad's '95 to look at as being correct and right. I have had the '94 since 2001 with 6500 miles and dad's has 2500 miles. This new (to me) '95 is going to be my fun car. It has a little over 50,000 miles and while not bad, some of it's past service work left alot to be desired. Certainly and obviously to me, the dealership service techs didn't care what type of car it was as many fasteners are wrong, broke, or missing altogether. Regardless, it won't be a difficult project, and will ultimately become one Bad___ (awesome) car!

What I do know is that both factory original cars have clamps stamped "47" on the radiator inlet end and "44" on the metal crossover pipe end.

Kurt White lists the details of this spring clamp as:

"Used for coolant hose Part # 10135659 Factory original supplier: GM Ring type 41.5mm - 50.0mm with a nominal size of 47mm "Stamped T"..."

Yes, Kurt has the clamps, and if need be, I will go there, but I wanted to check here first.

I just looked there for I guess maybe the first time in maybe 2 years. He gets a pretty handsome price for his. Interestingly his are stamped "T"! You've got dimensions so you should be good. I need to check KW for some pricing I guess.

For the past 10 or so years for "constant tension" clamps I've used Isuzu truck hardware.

The clamps are now listed on the website. Simplest way to find them is to click on "New Products." The 5 different clamps are the last items listed.

Hope this is helpful. If you see anything incorrect, please let me know.

NOTE: FOR THE 21030894 Clamp, I have clamps marked
1ea "47",
2ea "T" and
1ea "50" (42.5mm relaxed i.d.)
If you order, tell me which one you want

They are identical in size, style & finish. No difference except for stampings.
