I wonder if they are going to produce some parts that might fit on our LT5s like guides and gaskets etc. Its cool and might be a good thing for us in the long run. Another source of parts are always welcome, keeps people honest.

I wonder if he'll copy the cams too. That would mean another source for aftermarket camshafts...

nah, probably not at SB chev prices kev. nelson engines often go for 50k and up
that block alone I'll bet is north of 10k but it's nice to see what can be done with some high end equipment and Nelson's TT stuff is mighty purty fyi, a buddy of mine has a shelby with the aurora engine in it. nice little car and prettier than the cobra I often thought a couple of turbos and M85 would work pretty good on one of those. they are relatively compact |

Quite an undertaking to say the least.
Wonder if an LT5 "donor" engine is required for the rest of the parts needed to complete the engine. Especially interested to see what he will do for cylinder heads and intake. Looking forward to seeing it run and the performance results. |

This article talks about the LT5 at the end with a picture. It says it uses stock LT5 heads. If that is true, could his chains and sprockets be used in a stock LT5?
http://www.chevyhardcore.com/feature...acing-engines/ Heads are stock, what's he using for cams? |
