Erik: A quick disconnect switch, safety not withstanding, is practical if the car is in storage where AC power is not available, especially if the storage area is in sub-freezing temperatures (colder temps slows chemical "sulfate" buildup particularly when not being regularly charged).
Yeah a 69 with like 4 wires compared the bundles of wires in a 1990. How old are the batteries in the 90 and 91? I know a couple of those batteries of mine were killed by an alternator..
