The parts are still available at the dealer and if you've a relationship with a dealer you should be able to buy them competitively priced.
The parts were added in MY '93 I believe and the glass was updated at the same time. These would not work in '90 cars as the glass isn't the same as later cars. "91 & '92 if the glass is original I don't believe the hole is present unless the glass has been replaced and then it's likely.
The parts mentioned are '93 thru end of production.

That is a 'spanner' socket and if yours has the round projections that are direct fit to the spanner nut that would be fine but *I don't believe the guide uses the spanner nut. The 'spanner' socket is generally pretty easily manufactured using the appropriate old socket and a grinder/dremel to modify it.
* I found a couple references to the 'spanner' so it's likely used. I've never had a later door apart.
