If my car had metal particulate that had circulated through the motor, I'd be doing a full tear down otherwise any fix may be very temporary before any metal particulate left in the motor causes...

Interestingly, my B&B Fusions default valve position is open, not closed. I'm going to assume B&B noticed the preferred default position and adjusted.

That looks like the vacuum ball that normally sits in the left hand side front wheel well.

Pic is from my 91. Not sure of they mounted these any differently in later models.

I suspect there's a pretty good chance that's the car that Lingenfelter ran in the top speed shootout back in the late 90's that ran 218mph (if I recall correctly it was with a different motor).

I bought the complete aftermarket clutch assembly they had just so I can drive the car. I'll pick up a spare compressor for the parts shelf soon.
