When I jump the high pressure switch I get nothing - any other car would always make the compressor engage. I will check for voltage tomorrow in the switches

1991 ZR1 40K - blinking head unit states low freon. Bought this r12 substitute stuff from amazon - supposed to be decent - however no compressor action?? Fuse checks good - jumped at all pressure...

Lower shift seal woes

After breathing in hot fumes I decided to check my lower shift seal (this is the seal that goes between transmission and floor of the car). Not too surprising the shift seal was completely missing....

Well i went back to examine it again and it appears to be binding at the very top. Once the door opens it unbinds and works as it supposed to. Any ideas? I'm taking off the door panel shortly. Thanks

I'm working on my 1991 Zr1 and came across a strange issue. With the drivers side door closed the power window moves a hair but no further. If I open the door while holding the switch still nothing....

I appreciate the offer - I pulled the trigger on an OBX system from ebay - they had a make an offer option and feel like I got a decent deal. Finding a flowmaster would have been nice but beggers...

I agree - I'm not going to be too picky - anything seems better than stock. I've always been a big magnaflow fan but seems that they are not too popular on the zr1.

I know - everyone has their favorite exhaust - corsa being the "best" in terms of performance - I'm after the sound and some more power - not looking to squeeze every last ounce of power from a cat...
