Flyin Ryan, you are right. After looking at this plug for several minutes and running my finger around the lip, I suspected that the drain plug was damaged. I used my dremel very so lightly around...

OK. I will try again. But it is strange that the 17mm drive seats with no problem in the fill plug, but seems slightly over size for the drain plug. Maybe a slight grinding on the drive surfaces will...

Thanks bud. You are right...the fill is 17mm. However, the drain looks as if it is a 16mm. 17mm HEX drive slightly larger. Go figure!!
