not really just a specific price range of 16 thou or close thereabouts.....i know it doesn't get me much but so long as its a useable car i'm prepared to put some work in if it doesn't involve big...

I would indeed appreciate a knowledgeable eye looking over it bill..... it’s an interesting car albeit ‘altered’ but the owner had a reason to do so, so I get it and like the car all the more...

The pic is of the ABS is on its side so top is facing you .....if you look closely you can see that just up and right of dead center of pic is a rusted bleed screw.....so basicallly if you were...

ahhh....might have got that a genralized.....to get the ABS free to work on i disconnected all the wiring loom connections in the ABS box.....not sure that l was unplugging but l unplgged...

In order of questions....

I think the 5 prebents from ABS to front will be ok to install except as you go up to the front passenger side brake crossover pipe as it crosses the engine bay area, and...

The hardest part is stripping the old stuff out. The fear bit is thinking you have to replicate all the bends exactly. Just the main runs down the rocker from ABS pump to front are doable and then...

last year l was poking around (always a bad thing to do) and saw some corrosion on the brake pipes as they entered the ABS pump box behind the drivers seat....one touch and the fluid started...

Yep....thanks for that....just wanted to be sure me memory of what l was looking at three months ago wasnt tricking me.....they looked like 1mm pitch so will order up a bunch

Ok...so ive got your attention :hello:

Ive ripped out nearly all my brake pipes and replacing all with kuprinol...ok its not stainless but if its good enuf for aston martin then l reckon its good...

no gel coat...learn something new every day about the beast...my base is straight enough...one or two particular stress point cracks but fixable...l was thinking it may have to be WB...

Im in UK ....and my son is going to do the job....hes been in pro paint shop work training for a couple of years now and in the last 6 months has started spraying and produced some really nice...

so an epoxy primer ....is this two pack

as for aircraft paints l couldnt comment....but guess if lm planning on going reallllly fast then it wont come off

My 92 is never going to be a concours winner but l want to give her a new paint job .... looks as though it may have been re sprayed before l got it but l cant be sure what type of...
