Just figured out I only read the first page of posts.....what BS.....they should spray the track for us. These cars can run and need a good track prep. Hope folks got their money back if the track...

Gentlemen,

How did we do? Much chagrined "maximus" as Dominic dubbed him was unable to contribute to the cause. I could not risk the motor with a bad balancer though.

I am sad to say the C6 guys from Crown Point are going to get off easy....we noticed the balancer is not looking good and I decided I can't risk racing the car until it is fixed. New one wont be in...

Yes - the ZR1s should win the N/A class at those 1/2 mile events. I think Al or Bob would've gotten it done if their car/cars stayed healthy/made the event. I think the only reason I couldn't beat...

I think Bob G's 427 can beat my car, at least in mph/trap speed. It's of note that Bob had a better 1/8th mile trap than me 103 vs 102 - even on my 10.49 run. We think he was running into a minor...

I think you're math is on target, but as for a hypothetical between Bob G and the ZO6s that won the N/A class, I'd lay some cash on Bob G and not bat an eyelash. Bob's 1/4 trap is faster than my car...

BTW - the peak (lowest) density altitude for the day was 323 ft above sea-level - very good for the most part. It is about the same DA as a day in October 2011 when I was at US41 and ran my best...
