no spark on 5 & 8

Replaced all coil packs because I had a no spark condition on 5 & 8, after replacing I still have the same issues. Anyone seen anything like this? Car started missing then smoke was coming from back of engine, smelling electrical...

DIS Module.....could be the culprit.

are you sure the wires are seated on the coils? Had this issue myself I replaced the coils and the wires kept coming off on two coils, changed wires and the problem went away

I am afraid that the module is the issue, took it all apart again and check and double checked the wiring and conections and still same exact issue. Wish I could just try another module just to see if is it.. anyone know someone that has one to try????

Buy it from Bob and see if that's the problem. If not, sell it to someone else.
Seems like someone is always looking for that part.

Is there no way to correctly troubleshoot the DIS module?
