Alas it is done>>>
Bittersweet day as I said good bye to my red ZR-1...http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b7...U/DSC02782.jpg
Passport Transport came by and picked up the Z and is now headed to Blue Marlin Motors in Stuart Florida http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b7...U/DSC02788.jpg Now, I look at this empty spot and I truly thought of the 1995 article 'Requiem for a Heavy Weight [BYE-BYE to the Beast)' http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b7...U/DSC02791.jpg I hope the Z finds a new home with someone who can appreciate this fine car. I will be hanging around with you all...just the guy with 'that blue C6' Michael |
Re: Alas it is done>>>
She looks well cared for.
Good job. At least you have an old C6. They were good cars. The C7 pushes it down the stack of history. |
Re: Alas it is done>>>
Michael,
Nothing is forever. At least you sold her. I sent my first Z to the junk yard. Hope to see you out at the Cars and Coffee soon. |
Re: Alas it is done>>>
I don't know why, but I hate it/get sad when people sell their cars. I guess I get attached, hate change, or insert psychoanalytical reason here.

Re: Alas it is done>>>
Wow Michael...our two cars VIN #'s were so close, I feel as though my car lost it's brother. Well, I guess everyone moves on, hope to see you at cars and coffee before you leave for FL.
