Wheel spacers
The convertible Project is about to begin.
I need to find a supplier for wheel spacers, not adapters. Is the correct word "concentric"? I will need at least .500 (1/2") spacers, maybe more? I have purchased long wheel studs already. The rear wheels are 13" Dymag GenII's and fronts are 11". Also need a set of C5 calipers, if anyone has a nice set for sale at a good price. Thanks Brett |
Re: Wheel spacers
Concentric would be describing 2 circles with the same center. Hubcentric is a wheel or spacer that is centered by fitting on the hub. Lugcentric is centered by the torque of the lugnuts. I think. :D

Re: Wheel spacers
Me too. I think I need hubcentric then. I just want the spacer not to move.

Re: Wheel spacers
I have two that are 0.75" thick - fastened to the hub with wheel nuts and have studs for the wheels. Interested? I can probably round up 2 more if you need a full set.

Re: Wheel spacers
Mine are both hub and wheel centric spacers. 18mm and I use GM racing studs for the rears.

These 13" Dymags will be my determining factor, I think?? I emailed Daniel to see what spacers he has, if any. The rotor hat depth will be a factor too. running stock rotors until the car gets painted, then something more performance oriented. The special offset makes the need for a sway bar monuting that sucks the sway bar inward OR Dieline made a narrower sway bar. My wheels want to rub on the stock sway bar mounting bracket. I have about 1/8" clearance. Too close!! Daniel's white Dieline Baker car setup. http://i39.tinypic.com/14ag74k.jpg |
