Help identifying parts

On my last trip to the mechanic, he pointed out a couple of things under the hood that he suggested I follow up on. One was that he noticed I'm missing a cover of sorts. I've circled it in red below. Does anyone know what this is called and where I could get one?

He also had to replace the bolt below with one that's different but had the same thread. Does anyone know where I can get the right bolt?

Thanks.

You need the two nuts and one screw for the throttle body cover as well, I can't recall the official name but I doubt I have one of these, I might but doubt it. Check jerrysgaskets.com
And ebay as well.

That bolt someone has one . Jerry should

Does one of these look like the correct bolt?

1) Bolt, MAP Sensor to Bracket, NEW 90~95 [6.5B]
2) Bolt, MAP Sensor Brkt to Plenum, NEW,90~95 [6.5A]

Thanks.

Yep the small one is the one you need.

I replaced my map sensor bracket bolts with flange head 10mm bolts. Way easier than finding a torx bit and then trying not to drop the slippery bugger (which is probably the reason you have different hardware now-no biggie).

Actually, while working on the car, the mechanic just happened to notice that original bolt was either broken or about to break, so he replaced it with the only bolt he had available with the same thread.

Thanks! It never ceases to surprise me the knowledge on this forum!

Jerry confirmed he didn't carry the cover. I found and ordered a NOS cover at White Racing Products. (Ouch, it's $$$!) They didn't carry the nuts and screw. Jerry's out of town this week. Will check with him to see if he has the nuts and screw next week. In the meantime, if anyone knows the right nuts and screw, would be appreciated.

Jerry should have nuts (16512106) and the screw (11514501).

The nuts are M4 X 0.7 with a flange, the screw is a self tapping M4.2 X 1.4 x 8 with a torx pan head. I'd think there's no rush so wait for Jerry or just place the order on-line and I believe the store is being "attended to"!

Accelerator cable control shield is GM nomenclature designation.

I likely should have mentioned:

Accelerator cable control splash shield - SPH is the accepted abbreviation for splash so cataloged you would see it as SHIELD, accelerator control cable shield SPH.

And there you have it. Reminds me of the Army Nomenclature for a tooth pick.

I finally had a chance to install the throttle body shield today. As far as I'm aware, this is the last missing piece and the LT5 should be complete now! :dancing Thanks again for everyone's help!
