Congressman John Fleming (also a Louisiana physician) has proposed an amendment that would require congressmen and senators to take the same healthcare plan they force on us (under proposed legislation they are curiously exempt).

Yes and the same retirement plan, too.

Carter, I think a better idea would be if we had the same health plan as congress does. I wouldn't ask them to step down to our health plan. Let us step up to theirs. If they are truly for the people, as they say they are, there shouldn't be any problem. We could have the health care done by the end of this week.

I was thinking about Their health & retirement plans and the funding source for those plans......at least I have that in common with my elected representatives!
