Bloomington Gold "Tour"...Anyone make it??
There is an all Corvette cruise on Saturday, June 27th - runs about 34 miles in a loop out in the country and back. (One year there was close to 3000 in "the Tour".) Staging (at the Kane Co Admin offices parking lot; corner of Rt 38 and Peck, I believe) begins whenever (4PM if you want to be near the front of the pack) and the first cars are scheduled to leave the staging area at 6PM and it winds up at about 7 PM.
There is usually quite a crowd of on-lookers along the route, complete with some mock burn-out patches and drag strips. It is a blast, and don't forget to wave (and honk!). I think it would be a lot of fun if "Z boyz" and friends could get there early enough to get staged, more or less as a group, to make the "Gold Tour". Afterwards we could meet somewhere for a bite. (wouldn't want to impose on Dom again, tho last year was a fantastic get-together, Dom! WooHoo!). Who's comin'??? P. |

I am interested.....my daughter would enjoy it also, she likes to cruise in the Z!
Maybe a Texan BBQ get together? I get us the big table in the back.
