since they are shorter, what if anything did you do different when installing?
There is 2 grooves on the top, which did you use for the clip? Just verifying what I did, I think all is good, but don't know yet

Have you started that beast yet ? The set I had only had one grove for the clip. What set did you end up with?

Here's a few pics from last year when I did the FIC injectors. The four slots that hold the rail down to the IH's had to be oblonged upward about 3/8".
out with the old... ![]() ![]() ![]() in with the new... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I should also add that I had to push the dimple next to the screw on the injector bracket inward with my vice to allow the bracket to sit flush against the rail after oblonging the screw location.

Looks like a differing view on the install here... with the FIC Bosch injector package this note is included:
![]() Thus when looking at the FIC injectors note top "full circumference slot>>> ![]() Thus when installed looks like this>> ![]() ![]() Also for those who use a different brand (like Accel) injector and hear about 'grinding off the tab' here is what is meant (did this for Glenn's car when we replaced his injectors)>>> ![]() Last edited by ZR1Vette; 05-03-2009 at 09:49 AM. |
