Name that mystery hose????
When you look at the firewall of a 1990 ZR1, there is a vacuum hose protruding into the engine compartment from under the dash. It is to the right of the steering shaft and underneath the brake master cylinder. Can anyone name this piece? Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Name that mystery hose????
I know the throttle cable comes out of the firewall at approximately that location and could be mistaken for a vacuum hose. Without going to look at a car, I don't have a clue as to what the vacuum hose you are referring to does. Hopefully someone else has an answer. Good luck!

Re: Name that mystery hose????
Unfortunately my neighbor has my camera at the moment and Ive been too lazy to deal with getting it back. Ill probably do it today so I can post a pic. The hose & grommet come out of the firewall under the brake booster. Cruise Control Vacuum release sounds logical. I dont think its the HVAC hose, it enters through the square-ish bulkhead connector, kinda behind the passenger side cylinder head. I dont think there are any more vacuum hoses that go through the firewall besides these 2. Anyone know of a 3rd or 4th?
