Hi,
This is not the original battery, it has a 1995 date code on it however. Would there be a deduction for NCRS? ![]() ![]() Thanks ![]()

At NCRS meets cars are judged according to the appearance of originality and then on condition. If the battery has all the correct markings, configuration as original, it would receive points as if it were the battery that came in the car. I'm assuming, though that the date code would be different, so there might be some points off for that. An AC Delco service replacement battery will get you half the originality points, then, depending on the condition of the battery maybe all the condition points. Much better than full deduct for a non-AC Delco battery. Also, don't forget to remove the battery lift strap. That can cost you another 25% in originality points.
