Landed classic auto policy today, .....2cars....3K miles per year per car for $331 annually. Sometimes the black car may be outside, which could be an issue with classic car policy...answer....keep comp coverage on the standard policy for another $50 per year to fill any potential exclusions or gaps in coverage...could also do the same with collision if you need to use the car in situations were coverage may excluded......add coverage for a few days and then drop.

Just a thought......completely on the up and up as long as you do not try to collect twice.....in the event of a loss each company would pay their fair share.

The Corvette Museum just recently announced that they will start offering a "Classic Car Insurance" for Corvette owners. This might be exactly what we've been looking for. Call the guy coordinating it, Adam Boca, at the Museum 800-53VETTE, 800-538-3883, for more info.
Any of you checked into, or have feedback about, what Adam can do??

Better than I am paying right now for two of them and the deductibles are $1000 each. These are no deductible, high liability limits and stated values.

As the quote shows, that's the same company the Corvette Museum is using. I opted for high limits on everything including values.

What restrictions are you referring to? I am limited to 6,000 miles per year on the low mile car and 3,000 per year on the car for sale. They have to be garaged and I have sent a question on the appraisal. I don't know if anyone can properly apraise a ZR-1 here.

Hey John

My neighbor can appraise the car. He did my Polo Z when I lost it. The private guy, State Farm hired was within $500. They both did a good job. The “adjuster” from State Farm, who never looked at the car sucked.
