Nice looking. That car has been for sale a long time, first time I've seen it on ebay.

Not a big fan of yellow
![]() The rollbar is a bit of a pain , the way that it stiffens up the car has got to be felt. A huge improvement.

I have to agree with Frank. When the cage was in #364 everything stayed where it was suppose to be. No flex meant you could count on things being pointed in the right direction. With the cage, coil-overs and slicks, it really made driving it at speed much easier, faster and predictable. Curtis

That is some nice paint work, at least from the picts it looks like a lot of careful work went into the paint. The rest of the stuff ain't too shabby either!
I just wonder why put a different interior, is the 96 interior that much better? Okay ignorance is now speaking....the roll bar = rear stiffness, but what about the front of the car? Don't/ aren't you supposed to tie the front of the chassis to the rear thru the rest of a roll cage? I mean if that stiffens up the rear, then doesn't the front actually suffer/ become worse? or I don't see what I'm not understanding....sorry for my Q. ![]()

I am no engineer but this is what I think. If the frame is X feet long, then adding the roll bar makes the distance shorter that is not supported by fixed points. Shorter = stiffer. In #364 I had a full roll cage which really stiffened it up. For an experiment, just take off your remove top and feel the difference in flex. I was very supprised at the amount of flex just the top held.

It definitely helps with rigidity and body flex and often protects the driver. It's just alittle bling bling for me - black might have been a better choice. What did you mean FU when you said you don't like yellow?? ![]() |
