Default LT5 Shortblock F/S

Hello Everyone,
It turns out I do not have a buyer for my shortblock. Its a 1990 motor and it has close to 40K miles. It is all OEM, its never been opened up past the head removal. I can send pics. It comes with balancer, timing chains, pan, starter, water pump, oil filter mount, + some extras. Id like to get $1500.00 for it. If anyone is interested let me know.

Secondary butterfly screw or a TB blade screw.

Actually it was not a 2ndary screw as all were accounted for. It was definetely a foreign object and most likely a screw or bolt of some sort but it is a total mystery as to what. It has always been there ever since I aquired the car and the previous owner never drove fast/WOT or did any type of engine work. The guy never even used the full power key, ever. So my guess is that ity was most likely a tech at the local Chevy dealership. They don't even sell Corvettes, never have, and for some reason they were working on this guy's ZR1.

Instead of liners why dont you have the originals de-Nikasiled, bored, honed, and then re-Nikasiled. When I looked into it I was quoted $1600.00 out the door for everything. The aluminum liners are thick enough and if you go to 4" or 4.030" an entire world of off the shelf forged pistons (cheap) becomes available. They would require some crown work but nothing major. Something to think about if you don't wanrt to spend lots of $$$.
