Default Does anyone have plastic parts mfg experience?

I want to have a plastic (nylon) part made, maybe even a whole lot of them. It probably require a 3d scan, the making of a mold and production of 1000 pieces. Anybody have any experience in this field?

It will be a modified version of this;

First person who can identify what this is gets one for free (if and when I have them made)

Hint: it's not ZR-1 specific but it is C4 specific.

That a door piece?

Ill have to look and see if I saved links, wanted to have some pre-ported plenums done out of the same material as the LSx intakes. Somewhere I have the info for imaging, etc . Can you use the solid works program?

Its not a cheap process but your piece will probably be much easier due to its size and simplicity..

try Brian swiftwood@aol.com he could probably help you out.
