Default how does one hog out the cats

what is the easiest way to take the guts out of the cats on my 92. is there an easy way?

The way I did it was by cutting directly behind the cat with sawzall and removing with a long screw driver and then welded the back up! It sounded like crap and gained no noticable performance, but my headers took two weeks to get way back when so I thought i'd give it a try...lol!

I wouldnt knock the guts out unless you had them off the car, if you live in an vehicle emissions state where they check everything get some high flow cats, if you dont have emission regs, ditch the cats all together put a piece of pipe in there place or get some headers, jeal and stainless works from what ive read are good.

thinkn i will just get headers . how long does stainless works take to make them ?
