LT5 Engine Model Year Verification
Came across this LT5 on the Bay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LT5-C...em150223375827 The listing claims its out of a 93Z which should make it a 405 hp engine. Can anyone verify this by looking at the pics? I don't see any EGR pluming which I thought all 405 hp came with. |

Yep, it's a 90, doesn't look like it was carefully removed as the coolant hoses and oil cooler hoses were cut off.

Re: LT5 Engine Model Year Verification
Have a look at the pics in his new auction.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=its%3DS%252BI In the old auction the motor was grungy, dirty and looked like sh!t. Now it's clean and sparkles like new. I'll be he steam cleaned it. $10 says the starter is now shot. And why did he cut the wiring looms at the firewall? It was out of a wrecked car, so why didn't he take the time to pull the wiring out of the dash?
