Has anyone changed their oil after their ZR1 has been sitting for a couple of days?

yeah sure have it takes forever to drain. if you havent allready drained her , start her up for 10 min. then after shutting her down drain the oil . just put the pan under the car and go away for a couple of hrs . close her up and put your new oil in.

I usually change it after it's been sitting a while. Otherwise the oil filter can make a mess when you remove it.

Different schools of thought, draining hot supposedly gets more solids in suspension out, but I leave that up to the filtration process.

Shouldn't be an issue, Manfred. I just changed mine. Let it drain for 3 days on the lift (mostly because I forgot I was draining it and didn't get back out there to finish the job!).
