I seem to have developed a rattle (well my Z, not me personally!). It's not there when I immediately start up from cold but comes on as the engine warms up a bit. It also only seems to happen while idling, as soon as I lift the revs it dissappears.
From searching the forum it seems like it might be heat shields on the exhaust? Where abouts are these? On the headers? Underneath? Would appreciate any pointers. thanks Dave

Thanks for that Gene. I tried to isolate where the sound was coming from last Friday evening and the bloody thing refused to make a noise. I also went on 2 cruises over the weekend and there was nothing.
These cars are definitely female - nothing else is so bloody temperamental! ![]()
