there is another thread discussing what our cars run stk? so what is stk ? does it mean exactly like it came from the factory? so what are the thoughts on it . any real interest or not?

IMHO, there of course are many variables of the word stock

!. bone stock...factory

2. stock...bolt on mods (short shifter, headers, gears, exhaust) still a 350.
engine is same as from factory.

3.Lightly modded,
once you have increased, the horsepower by (porting ^ Polishing)
, i don't feel it's
a plain stock engine anymore.

So how about some info on those who have run at the track. show room stk anly change allowed is air cleaner. nothing else! 2stk light modds headers and exhaust ,rear gears, clutch and shifter,inj cchanges,prom changes, and drag radials allowed. 3the ultamate 350 the modds from 2 plus porting of heads , inj housings,plenum,and cam changes. 4 368s with 2,3 ........5, the big boys, any stroke bore, nitrous ,turbos, anything goes ,only 1 condition ,car must be currently licenced. what does everyone think? how about a thread to compile the data for future records for these amazing cars
