Re: rear window drain
I put one on my '87 and thought it was a real POS. I got the Mid America kind that came with the drill bit. Well the brass part didn't sit flush, and the lip was so high lots of water didn't drain. Much of what did drain drained between the hose and the body, not through the hose.
But maybe I just sucked at installing it. I just found most of that mid america stuff like the drains and such to be junk.

Re: rear window drain
I may be considered a cheapskate but I just use a length of 1/4" vacuum hose to siphon the water out of mine. The end is trimmed so that it can fit down in there better and it gets the water out just fine.
I don't want to trust my clutziness to drilling a pair of holes in the body. SharkPilot
